The character and the costume
Rena, the graceful elven archer from Elsword, takes on a magical transformation in her Fairy Breath skin. With her blonde-green hair flowing like enchanted leaves, she embodies the spirit of nature.
Her outfit features a stunning gradient-colored skirt, delicate fairy-like details, and a beautifully crafted wooden bow. My aim was to bring her elegant and powerful presence to life with intricate craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Rena cosplay Tutorial
How I Made My Rena Fairy Breath Cosplay from Elsword.
Creating my Rena Fairy Breath cosplay was a challenge, especially when it came to two key elements: the gradient skirt and the wooden bow.
The Gradient Skirt:
To achieve the ethereal look of the costume, I used white cotton fabric, which I hand-dyed to create a smooth gradient from green to blue to purple. This was one of the hardest parts of the entire costume, as both the pattern design and the dyeing process required precision to ensure a uniform color transition without harsh lines.
The Wooden Bow:
For Rena’s iconic weapon, I chose the most fitting material… actual wood! I shaped and refined the piece to give it the distinctive curved form while maintaining a natural, elegant look that perfectly complements her character design.
