I just discovered the meaning of Kairi's name. Seems it is from the Japanese word for "sea" (海 Kai), though her full name is homophonous with the word for "nautical mile" (海里 Kairi). Yesterday I saw an article about "how to date a cosplayer", and probably this person has no idea how a cosplayer is in real life. During an event we wear a lot of makeup (colored and enlarging lenses, fake eyelashes, foundation, contouring..), wig, uncomfortable costumes+shoes and we are able to pose in the best way to look like a specific character. But during the other 90% of the time we are just... Normal human beings. For example, when I work on my costumes I wear old/bad clothes I can ruin. In the right pic I was in the garden sanding Riven sword with 0°C covered with many layers as possible to don't catch cold plus a mask to avoid to breath the foam dust. At work (yes, I have a full time job that is not related to cosplay) my dress code is completely different from these 2 pics, and when I go out with friends it's another style again. Try to go further than our pretty pics, we are all differents and not objects. Date someone you are really interested, and not just a random cosplayer.
