The character and the costume
Flareon is a Fire-type Pokémon from the first Pokémon series, known for its high-temperature attacks. Inspired by this iconic Pokémon, I decided to create an original humanized version, also known as a gijinka.
The concept behind the cosplay was to design an outfit that evokes the essence of fire, with flowing warm tones and a dynamic, flame-like silhouette. Since I debuted this costume at a summer convention, the design was intentionally kept light and breathable, ensuring comfort while still capturing the fiery energy of Flareon in a human form.

MAKING OF (FLAREON)
The concept for this cosplay is entirely my own: I designed this humanized version of Flareon from scratch. I’ve even seen other cosplayers take inspiration from it, which makes me really happy!
I also personally created the entire costume, using a variety of shiny, iridescent fabrics that move with the slightest breeze, producing a dynamic, flame-like effect that works beautifully in photos or just while walking around a convention.
