The character and the costume
Brazilian Miku is a unique fan-made version of the iconic Vocaloid Hatsune Miku, inspired by colorful Brazilian-themed fanart. Many talented artists have created their own Brazilian Miku fanart. For my cosplay, I took inspiration from several of these fan interpretations and created my own personal variant. I focused especially on the wig, giving it a completely unique look through custom styling and handmade decorations,

Brazilian Miku cosplay Tutorial
I made this costume myself for a cosplay convention at the beach.
Since there are so many fan arts out there, I decided to add my own “freestyle” twist by personalizing it.
I transformed a Brazil t-shirt and repurposed an old pair of shorts I used to wear as a teenager, then crafted the necklace and bracelets from scratch.
The trickiest part was the wig. I created my own version! I used a very old Hatsune Miku wig as the base, then made it curly, sparkly, and delightfully chaotic.
