About Sweet Angel Cosplay
Sweet Angel Cosplay (@miciaglo) is an award-winning cosplayer and self-taught artist from Italy, with over 17 years of experience in the cosplay scene.
Known for her meticulous craftsmanship, she designs, sews, and builds every aspect of her costumes—wigs, props, and accessories—paying extreme attention to detail.
Her dedication and artistry have earned her a solid reputation both in Italy and internationally, leading to over 47 guest appearances at conventions and events worldwide.
She has claimed top prizes in cosplay competitions across multiple countries, including Wild Rift Cosplay Arabia, DreamHack Sweden, UOCC in the USA, and the European League of Legends Cosplay Contest.
Beyond competing, she has also been invited as a judge for high-level competitions, helping to select national representatives for European and global cosplay championships.
She was also one of the first cosplayers in Italy to collaborate with brands, paving the way for cosplay influencers. In 2018-2019, she become the first Italian cosplayer to be a Brand Ambassador for a sewing company—Janome Italia.
She also worked with Amazon Prime Video in Italy, Blizzard in Spain and she was also an official testimonial for Festa dell’Unicorno (the biggest italian fantasy event).
Miciaglo has played an active role in shaping the Italian cosplay community, organizing nearly 40 cosplay events between 2010 and 2017 as the founder of the CosTrive group.
Outside of cosplay, Gloria—her real name—works in digital marketing and communication. When she’s not crafting costumes, she enjoys outdoor activities, sports, body building and discovering new creative challenges.
Thanks to her strong fanbase and expertise in digital marketing, Sweet Angel Cosplay collaborates with brands and events as a guest, contest judge, panelist, and model.
She creates engaging content through unboxings, reviews, and promotions, offering custom costume creation, professional photos and videos, and event appearances to ensure impactful and tailored collaborations.
